Weaving in a Resident Evil’s Alice-esque vampire-fighting agent from Scotland Yard, Clair Stoker (yes, a descendant of Bram), a non-nonsense homicide detective and a sadistic veterinarian, McCracken moves the action forward effectively, with an ending that might well serve (total speculation here) as the launch pad of a series of vampire novels.

Note: This is not a vampire romance.The story: 3 sisters who are the brides of the original Count Dracula still exist and are living large in Las Vegas.. Bram Stoker's descendant, Clair Stoker, is hunting them down with the help of the Las Vegas police.. The sisters select a series of men to be their 'Dark prince'(Draculii), who exists to take care of mundane tasks such as managing their strip club business and producing other vampires. After 'taking out' their current prince, they select a new prince who (unknown to them) is a serial killer. Things take a decided turn for the worse for the 3 sisters.
Read it for yourself to see how it all turns out. Serious insanity, and I loved every minute of it.

The book at first got me envolved into it (for the first 10 pages). Later on the story as it developed it began to make no sense, characters appeared with no conection to the story and it ended without me ever understanding how anything was related. I finished it just because I thought it would get back on track but it turned out to be a very lame ending. If you got more than time in your hands then you can waste some of it on reading this book.
